About Me
Hi there:
My name is Lemoney.
let me briefly introduce myself first.
I received B.Sc in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University. I have been tutoring all four years in University for high school student and continually tutoring after I graduate. I have taught many college and high school students so far. I am planning to get my teaching certificate later on. I am glad that I found teaching is something I'm skilled in at early years of my life. And I consider it as a life long career.

I am currently teaching all high school and some college science courses (Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Molecular biology/Biochemistry) and Math for high school students.
The most important thing at learning science and math is understanding. Without understand the material you are learning, you can't solve a single problem on your exam. My job here is to help you understand and digest the materials you have learned at school . Then the next step is to teach you how to use the knowledge to do work and let you do lot of PRACTICE, PRACTICE and PRACTICE and teach you the trick for memorization if you need help for Biology.
I have many course related materials that I obtained from many years of tutoring. I can help with exam preparation, Assignments & projects, daily reviews and prepare for new materials.
The price depends on the level of the study (and location in some cases). It is AFFORDABLE. The price is solid because I know I am good and experience so I don't want lower myself to compete with new tutors. For Price, please check below.

Elemenraty/ High School Courses
One-one tutoring: $30/hr

Group of 2: $20/person /hr

Group of 3: $15/person/hr

Online tutoring: $25/hr

(Minimum 1.5 hr per session)

AP/IB/College Courses

This is for if you just want to have short sessions to help you prepare for upcoming exam or write an assignment.

Thank you for reading this far! I would consider long term students first so I can get to know them better.
Long term sessions begins with 2 month and can go as long as the end of the school term. Short sessions also welcomed as long as my schedule is not fully booked.
​
Normally, 2 sessions each week with 1.5hrs each time is recommended to fully cover the school materials in detail.
If you prefer tutor once per week, an 2 hr session is recommended.
*College students are suggest to have min 2 hr session if you are struggling for your course.

Booking Rules:
Some simple rules to follow:
​
1.If you want to terminate your session, please notify me at least a week ahead.
2.If you cannot make it to your session, please let me know least a day ahead. (except emergency)
​

*Students who ALWAYS cancel their class will ask to re-arrange another days to study with me on weekly basis. If situation continues, students will ask to pay for the day or study with another tutor.
​
(I made this rule because there were students who always cancels their class even in the last minute, which was disrespectful)
​

Money can be paid during every session or paid ahead for multiple sessions. If you are doing home tutoring, money can be paid at the end of every month as well to make it easier for you.
